Quick question on uploading.

I have been staring at this little upload clock spinning for over an hour. How long does it usually take up upload 125mb? It stopped saying the % uploaded after a few minutes.

You probably got a timeout when it stopped saying the %. So please instantly abort the upload attempt as soon as the % stops moving upward?

I would agree if you are refering to people with a coaxial connection, I don't have one of those and still have problems any time I try to upload, no matter the day no matter the time and no matter how small the file is, iwara is the only site that does this, that excuse is just BS if you ask me.

I cant upload using Firefox. I use Google Chrome and the longest it takes is 25 mins for me on a 275meg video

Hmm ill try using a different browser then, I'm in Melbourne so our internet is meh. But honestly it should be more then enough to upload things.

My Wifi sucks! When I had a dual channel (ch1 3g-ch2 5g ) a video only took 10 min to do a 275 meg vid. I miss that modem. :(

I tried all morning 2-3am Japan time(3-4am Australian). I was hoping that would be the peak time since Japan is the main traffic to Iwara. At the time I had 22mbps upload and 42 mbps download. The most the connection progressed to was %4, I tried uploading it on my gaming PC first, then tried with my laptop, then tried with my mobile phone. I tried direct connection to all computers and phone then tried Wifi, which made no difference, I even dropped all of my firewalls and gave each attempt 2 shots at around 10mins each. The most it progressed was %4 before dropping the connection, my laptop told me the most it endlessly cycled "trying to establish a secure connection". I do not think Iwara accepts Australia, it is legit the only thing I can think of. Iwara just was not accepting the connection.

1. You could upload your video from Australia to Google Drive. And then embed your Google Drive link into your upload at Iwara. (Disadvantage: None, if you have less than 50 maximum size Iwara videos uploaded).
2. You could upload your video from Australia to Google Drive. And then ask your friend in Europe to download it from Google Drive and upload it for you to Iwara. (Disadvantage: You'll need to disclose your password to your friend and bother your friend).
(You can update your old uploads from mode 1 to mode 2 here above at any time. Your Iwara URL/likes/comments/view count will not be affected by such updates).

Google Drive claims to be a storage for non-public files, and YouTube and Vimeo dislike to be a storage for non-public videos. And Iwara allows embedding from those three sites only. (So Google Drive seems better?)

Here is what an embedded upload looks like at Iwara: https://ecchi.iwara.tv/videos/loa7gtb4dcwqqm1a

I uploaded my newest video at Iwara five days ago: https://ecchi.iwara.tv/videos/0vxl2iz4khzddgoo , with the below text added to the video description right after the upload:

Upload notes:

This 148 MB video took 149 seconds to upload to Iwara, from clicking on the 'Upload' button until the thumbnails appeared. The upload was done with Google Chrome at breakfast time, when the local ISP not is bogged down. The uploaded file did not cross any oceans such as the Atlantic or the Pacific on its way to Iwara's servers.
