motion models and patron.

Hello, I have a question, it may be ridiculous, but I must ask... If I make mmd videos, using other people's motion and models, can I open a patron by giving the r18 content, or can't I for content of other people? I don't like to play dirty, so I ask. Thank you.

there isn't much stopping you, but it has become somewhat dirty as people started making mmd purely for patreon money

Each MMD model has a ReadMe file, that often prohibits commercial use and R-18 'expressions'. The model creators will typically be mildly annoyed if you break the R-18 rule and think that the result is cute. And they will be hugely annoyed if you break the non-commercial rule and prey on their free-of-charge non-commercial creation to make money for yourself. This is especially true for Japanese creators. Japan is the land where the proud samurai didn't learn mathematics because counting money was a low-life activity below their level. Still today it's unpolite to discuss the price of things as much as we do in the West.

(You can get around this by creating your own MMD models and motions from scratch).

You demand money from other people to use motions. And at the same time the motions you will find where links to them give free? How low have you fall.

You can do it, some people on this website already do it. It's an incredibly low/soul less/greedy thing to do, but you can give it a shot. I know a few people that already do that and the amount of support they get is profound.

the use of other people's models is allowed for the r-18 content only if the original creator of the model allows it.

Each creator puts his conditions when sharing his models to the public or his private group, that's the first thing you should do when downloading models mmd read those conditions and see there if the model is suitable or not for the r- 18, since downloading these accepting these conditions and not respecting that will bring you problems with the creator.

if you want to make r-18 content that is what you must do and not all models are allowed for r-18 by its creators.

Also do not forget to mention the original sources of everything you will use, models, movements, scenarios, effects, etc.
