I'm looking for someone with some experience with PMX editor.

At the moment, there's a new body that was recently released by JYB_UNKNOWN (huge fan btw). I wondered that this was a great opportunity to finally make my own custom model for once. But I never touched PMX editor before. I looked at tutorials but no matter how much I look at them, I could never be able to replicate what I saw on the videos ever. So I wondered if it was possible for someone to take a bit of their time. Maybe have a live stream hands-on help on Discord?

I think all of us who know how to use the pmx-editor will start with tutorials.
just don't try to believe that one tutorial can do everything.
It is easier if you are looking for specific things, in devianart there are many tutorials on specific things.

You start by making modifications to existing models (adding and removing parts), then moving and adjusting bones and physics.

what I mean is that you will not find someone who dedicates their time only to you

depends on what you want to achieve or do in pmx.. hmm I could try, I am not the best but know quite a bit, especially that you mention some body edit.. I suppose you want to do some sort of body / head transplant? hit me up and we can talk it through Hatsu#8212

Learn the most basic first, creating a box, and give it a texture and material, next uv mapping,

Next level for veterans being:
Add armature/IK kinematic, Applying weight mapping, applying rigid physics, tuning rigid physics, the last being adding shape/morph.

For advanced user
Getting plugins to work, save a lot of time to manual rigging. Merging existing asset from two models, Of course it being the hardest you have to know the basic of 3D (vertex, texture, material, rigid body, weight mapping, shape/morph), this way you get a clue what you are doing with the editor. (For blender only, Get soft body to work, get baking to work.)

The most basic tutorial always come in handy to experienced users, you can always learn new tricks by going basic.
