Change your browser or wait a while and try again
Why do not you think about changing the line if it still does not play?

I have tried 6 (!!!) different browsers. And I HAVE waited for 3 days! And it not a problem from my IPS - all other video hostigs works perfectly fine!

Other hosting sites being OK doesn't clear your ISP- it's possible they've blocked videos from this site, maybe with parental controls. You'd have to ask them.

Could there be something like a virus checker, firewall, ad-blocker etc that doesn't like videos from this site? You could try (temporarily) disabling them to see if one is causing the problem.

What status code do you get back from the CDN?

Right-click > View video (With the inspector open on the network tab)

Woodscrew, don't understand what exactly you want. Could you please give me step-by-step insruction?

I've been having this problem recently too, but I figured out how to fix it! I use Bitdefender Free Antivirus 2017 at the moment, and I noticed it has recently been blocking certain elements from Iwara for some reason.

All I did to fix this was open a bunch of videos in new tabs, and then opened the Bitdefender interface and clicked on the notification that a "web threat" has been blocked. This opens a new window with a list of all the security events that have happened recently. There should be a list of web threats blocked from the videos in the tabs you just opened that are all from a number of Iwara domains. All you have to do now is click on the event, an then click on exclude on the right hand side.

Unfortunately a lot of domains are blocked that need to be excluded. Any time you get the error "The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported." you'll have to go in and add an exclusion. I have ecchi.iwara.tv, haku.iwara.tv, kohaku.iwara.tv, neru.iwara.tv, seeu.iwara.tv, galaco.iwara.tv, clara.iwara.tv, luka.iwara.tv, ia.iwara.tv, rin.iwara.tv, lola.iwara.tv, yuki.iwara.tv, meiko.iwara.tv, and gumi.iwara.tv excluded.

Even if you don't use Bitdefender, check to see if your antivirus or firewall have blocked anything from Iwara, and then exclude those.

Let me know if this helps! If you cant figure out how to get the videos unblocked, you can message me and I'll try to help you out.

Also, if an admin could make a sticky in the forum with this info (in a more coherent manner), that would be great. I suspect quite a number of people are having this issue, so the easier it is to find this solution, the better!

thebrokenfacade, thanks for your help but it not working. I'm using just standart Windows Defender without firewall or any network restrictions. BUT! Now I'm think the problem is in my IPS. I tried french VPN - it works pretty well! At least I was able to watch a few videos... With 600 KB/s speed....

2017-01-17 22:02

Well, good luck with that. If it's your ISP causing the issue there really is that much you can do other than use a VPN. I've used openVPN software with the free configuration files from https://www.vpnbook.com/freevpn in the past and it worked well enough to watch YouTube videos, although I never actually tested the speed.

I have the same problem, when I try to watch a video, the page is blocked and saying: "The media could not be loaded".

2017-08-17 11:29

"video can not be loaded" appears when im trying to download 10 videos at the same time, the download limit seems to be at 6 or 7 videos at the same time.

sometimes "video can not be loaded" appears when the website is working to slow at the moment, probably it appears often in some regions

or some broken and old videos also doesnt loading

to play videos you need up-to-date graphic card drivers and adobe flash

2017-08-17 13:24

>trying to download 10 videos at the same time

problem solved

2017-08-18 22:30

sometimes its more or less :3 there are times when you can load more than 10 vids and there are times when two vids are to much

2017-08-19 03:02

come back when its not peak time

I can't see any videos here without a ton of buffering these recent days. Iwara as a site is fine. It's the videos themselves being a pain.

From this, I see 2 problems. Either it's only my own country that's having a route problem between my ISP and Iwara's video servers, OR more than one country's cables are not receptive to Iwara. I say this because I had never used a single VPN in my life. I just use Google's DNS for my daily needs.

Either way, consider looking into Iwara's video servers. 100mbps gives me YouTube 720p videos just fine without stuttering, but it still can't stream Iwara's full resolution vids properly when at peak times. And that's before these recent days where I practically can't watch videos anymore.

As of 9/24/2017 I am having this issue on:
4 different American ISP (AT&T, Comcast Business, Comcast Home, and whatever my school uses)
5 different computers (iPhone 6S, iPad Pro, Macbook Pro Sierra Laptop, Lenovo Windows 10 Laptop, Windows 8.1 Desktop)
7 different browsers (Any recent versions of Firefox, Firefox iOS, Safari, Safari iOS, Internet Explorer, Edge, Chrome).

I am willing to bet this has NOTHING to do with our configurations, and some sort of a server configuration issue and/or there is some kind of "regional firewalling" going on.
I personally have been unable to watch videos a day on Iwara for the last year (less or more, thats just a rough estimate).
I have tried using Iwara at all hours of the day to see if it really is a server load issue. Definitely have not seen any differences myself.

-Sometimes I can use a download addon in Firefox to download the video straight from the server, which I can then watch with no issues.
-Sometimes I am able to watch a few videos in sequence, but if I open 2 tabs or open a tab while a video is playing I am stuck with the "media could not be loaded" garbage useless error message from then on...
-Sometimes refreshing the page a shit-ton will get it to "stick" and the video will play.
-Sometimes the video will start to play, play a few frames of video, then give me "the media could not be loaded" which really pisses me off as it was just loading.

Update: 9/28/17 I got one front page video to play once today. Now any front page videos fail to load. Also all of the Youtube videos play no problem.

Update: 10/16/17 Turns out that if your computer is connected to 2 ISP's then Iwara just totally fails. We disconnected 1 ISP and all problems disappeared.

i just can't view IWARA. YouTube, facebook, tumblr are OK. Anybody know how to deal with it? thanks!

Is there a problem with the site after it came back up? Before it went down I could view videos with very little or no buffering and download them in about a minute. Now I have so much buffering I can hardly watch the videos and downloading takes hours. Any other sites I have no problems and it makes no difference what time of day I try.

2017-11-12 12:55

I thought I found a goldmine when I found this site.... turned out that all videos are broken.

rip heart

On my observations, I think that the only way to solve this problem is to use a VPN...

UPDATE: 1 video worked, got excited and tried to go on another video, the second video doesn't work, went back to the first video that worked, it went back to not working. That's so mean.

With the same node and chrome, the phone can see, and the computer can not see

The Waterfox browser works pretty well too.

2017-11-18 17:10

OHHHHHHHH Noooooooo Firefox Quantum I want my old Firefox back. Firefox Quantum works OK For videos but to many options. I just got my Firefox the way I liked it. Its like going from XP to Win7. Dam more reading again another pain in the ass to learn.

Almost every time I enter iwara this error happens in the videos, reload the page and hit the play button fast the video works (at least it works with me). Could change the video player of the site.

2019-05-21 07:03

I can't play any videos either, that stupid 'Media could not be loaded because of server or network problems or yadda yadda' error comes up instead and covers the thumbnail. I don't even get the option to try and play anything.

2019-08-25 19:07

"Media could not be loaded..." error does not appear when using a VPN or TOR browser. Video servers such as avanna.iwara or kagamine.iwara.tv or etc do not connect to my IP. When setting IP via VPN in the same country, everything is ok.

2019-09-08 21:05

I've been having this same problem for few days now.

I've been visiting Iwara for over a year now and I've never had this "media could not be loaded" problem before. Out of 10 videos that I'm trying to watch I'm only able to watch maybe 3 of them.

1. Using Chrome and Chrome only, because it's simple and doesn't come with any unneeded features like Firefox does.
2. I do not use any VPN.

Any idea what could have caused this?

2019-09-09 08:22

Started for me lately also . I can watch most videos , but nt all . I'm using Edge with the Win 10 1903 update . It did it also on 1809 build .

2019-09-09 23:18

I see problem last few days only with old videos.
Today I got blocking screen due invalid certificate:
luo.iwara.tv uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate expired on 5 september 2019. The current time is 10 september 2019. Error code: SEC_ERROR_EXPIRED_CERTIFICATE
