Alright time for another thread and another discussion..
It seems issue I am having is with file size and in fact this deals with more like the software I use more than anything to produce a vido..'
first off I use Handbreake (I know I can't afford the more professional stuff (Not yet0 but still when I do a video and want to render it in good quality (and this is what I've learned from other video producers in the past) you might want to render it in "S2 pass' formatting with a bit rate of no lower than 9000 bps..
Now this is okay with me, I don';t mind rendering some of that stuff that way (It seems that a lot of videos that I produce can fit in the required 300 MB limit that is set down by the Iwara site..
However sometimes you are rendering a Good video and you don't want to edit out anything and well, you come up a little long (Like tonight I'm rendering the latest video Idid and it came out to 363 MB.. and we all know what happens when you pass the 300 MB limit it never gets posted..
So in the end, your work suffers and you feel dejected..
Hence I am curious as to why such a lot file size .. 300 MB.. that's really helping cut down on creativity of new and upcoming videographers and it kind of isn't an issue (Though If there is Betteer free software out there please let me know)
But why the 300 MB Limit after all this site has 10's if not hundreds of videos a motnh and a lot of them are under 300MB.
but shouldn't this file limit be raised to say 400 or even 500 MB (Some of the more well known sites where I find MMD videos have videos that are up to 1.5 Gb in size.. and all professional high quality..
So is Iwara's 300 Limit too low? you tell me.
